It was very different adjusting to non verbal cues for both Hazel and I as all of her previous training has revolved around being given a word or sound for a command. How are your lessons presented?
MUTTSHINE Lessons are presented in a variety of different ways including VIDEOS, PDFS, TEXT, SLIDE PRESENTATIONS & IMAGES. Our main delivery method is also our favourite: VIDEO. We've had excellent feedback about our instructional Videos.
Do I get help from the Instructor?
MUTTSHINE is truly all about helping both your dog AND you to SHINE! Personal feedback, group discussions, questions & answers and one-on-one support is an integral part of the whole MUTTSHINE experience.
Do all the lessons arrive in one giant big bunch?
MUTTSHINE uses "Drip-Feed" content delivery style which is just a tech-y term for "Scheduled Lesson Delivery." This means that each Unit (which contain a batch of lessons) will be released once a week. Drip-Feeding our course removes any feeling of overwhelm, and instead gives all of our participants a nice amount of stress-free time to review the materials, absorb the info & practice the exercises with their dogs.

How much does this course cost?
MUTTSHINE Beginner Shine! Course is $59 CAD (Harmonized Sales TAX INCLUDED)
Do I have to post my training videos?
We encourage you to post your training videos in our private facebook group (details when you sign up). Sharing your training videos helps all participants see commonality in their challenges, as well as witnessing the strengths & wonderful uniqueness of each MUTTSHINE dog. It also fosters a supportive atmosphere; lots of encouraging happy clapping emojis; and brings joy to all of us as we get to see our fellow MUTTSHINERS play & work with their dogs in positive ways.☀️ With all of that said, however, you do not have to post Videos if you don't dig doing that! As an Enrolled Student, you still get help with any feedback you & your dog might need through our discussion boards, posts, and direct messages.
Will my dog learn how to sit?
MUTTSHINE Beginner Shine! Course is focused on building concepts & skills in your dog through fun & empowering games, growing your relationship with your dog through rich & valuable experiences, and creating better communication & language between you & your dog through positive-reinforcement training.
